Hello guys, today I wanted to talk about the ups and downs that we go through during our weight loss journey. Most people just talk about the "ups" of their journey, even though they have "downs" too, and too me that's not real.. Real is talking about your "downs" too. So, today I am going to talk about my recent "downs" and what I plan on doing to get up again. I recently went to Pismo and of course we had a BLAST like we always do but, while we were there we treated ourselves to some of our favorite places -like the Splash Cafe <3 & the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Shop. At Splash Cafe I ordered a Cali Burger which consisted of lettuce, tomato, bacon, avocado and cheese all on a wheat bun (sounds healthy) with a side order of onion rings & ranch sauce, water to drink. I ate 100%, after we ate our lunch we continued to walk around the "strip" and on to the beach. After having enough we decided to hit the outlets which were about a 10 minute drive. Once we got to the outlets we walked around to each store & finally reaching Rocky Mountain we stepped inside, not having been there for about a year we splurged on chocolates (which I knew was a bad idea in the back of my mind) we came out with a bag of : 2 Dirty worm caramel apples, 2 sugar free Khula truffles, 2 white chocolate dipped marshmallows, 1 chocolate dipped sugar cookie and 1 white chocolate Reese's peanut butter cup. While we were enjoying the day we stopped at a bench & snacked in the caramel apples & shared half of the sugar cookie. Now that we have the chocolates at our house we don't want to waste our money so we finished the chocolates 1 a day. Now after all of that is over and along with having a very big and unnecessary dinner last night, I am up 4.5 pounds... I am very disappointed with myself. So, it is very important "to mind what you eat" and as soon as you forget to do that you gain your weight back. Now, once you're in your "downs" do not give up because you know that you have lost the weight before and that you can do it again!

Today I will be minding what I eat very closely & once I am off work @ 12 I plan on going for a run. Later on after I have gone to work again & came back home, I will continue with a workout from my Skinny Box workout video. Keeping up with your workouts & minding what you eat will get me back to where I was and back to losing more! Along with alot of

Sometimes there are days where I am so busy that I tend to only eat 1 meal a day which will trigger your body to hold on to your calories instead of burning them - which is one of the most important things that you want to stay away from! So even when you're on the go all day please make sure to grab something to eat or a protein shake that will act as a meal replacement!
When I was living at my moms house I was working on my weight loss goal on and off all the time and I would leave notes around my room that said "your fat" , "you need to loss weight" & things like that, although I am quite normal sized & wear a medium in shirts I still want to be a bit slimmer & toned up. Oddly enough, these rude notes would help me to stay on track with my workouts! So, even if its a strange reminder, as long as you think it's efficient for you then that is good. Make sure that it reminds you to keep on with your journey. You can write things like "Drink H2O" , "Fit into size 6 jeans" , "Be able to fit into last years little black dress"
